On todayʻs show we talk with Adria Fung from the Hawaii Space Grant Consortium and coordinator for Hawaii VEX Robotics and the team from Hawaii Girl Power, Ariella, Julia, Jaymi, Aurelia about the VEX IQ competition and going to the Middle School VEX World Championships in Dallas, TX.
First we’ll cover some local science and tech stories, then we’ll speak with David Ulrich about the Pacific New Media, Contemporary Photography in Hawaii contest. Then we’ll have Kathleen Cabral tell us about the annual Leeward Community College Geek Day. Finally, we’ll learn about an underwater robotics program called SeaPerch. We’ve invited Coast Guard organizer Lieutenant Commander Andy Goshorn and the team from Wahiawa Elementary featuring teacher Randy Otaka and students Kai, Kohala and Dominic.
