To all our friends on Kauai, I want to share this great robotics training opportunity. The Kauai Robotics Alliance – KRA, have arranged for some professional trainers to come from FIRST Robotics, to present a two-day teacher professional development event, on teaching robotics and related project-based learner to all participants. The training is FREE to any Hawaii teachers (or anyone else, like scout leaders, home-schoolers and engaged parents). The training takes place on Friday (9/20) and Saturday (9/21) but you must sign up. To do so, visit kauairoboticsalliance.org for more information.
Then, we have Ed Barnabas from Booz Allen Hamilton here to talk about a hackathon called Hack the Wave in support of ALS and the ALS Foundation of Hawaii. Last but not least, we have Sam Sneed from Law firm ES&A and Tim Ames, CTO at Hawaii Tech Support here to talk about TechForce 2019 Conference and Expo. Sign up and support this essential tech initiative.
